Ann Christine Kennedy

Born August 19, 1952.  Died May, 2007.

Ann Christine Kennedy, 54, of Temple Terrace, Fla, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2007. Born in Pompano Beach, she was the daughter of Sam and Vera Kennedy of Fruitland Park. Mrs. Kennedy was employed with Hillsborough School District for over twenty years. Surviving in addition to her parents, is her husband Dr. Steven Grossman; stepchildren, Daniel and Caroline Grossman and their son Asher of Chicago; Sara and Derek Sterling and their son Avery of Las Vegas; a brother, Michael Kennedy, of Pompano Beach; three nieces, Shannon Hill, Stacy and Jason Sanders, and Samantha Kennedy; a great-niece, Addison Sanders; and a great-niece on the way, all of S.C. She was preceded in death by a brother, Sammy Kennedy.

Susan Elaine Knefel

Born December 31, 1952.  Died February 3, 2011

Knefel, Susan Elaine, 58, of Pompano Beach, FL, the daughter of the late Richard A. and Eleanor L.Knefel, went to Heaven on February 3, 2011, at 8:02 a.m., after a long and courageous battle with multiple illnesses. Born in Chicago, IL, December 31, 1952; moved to Pompano Beach in 1961; love music; played guitar; viola for Pompano Beach H.S. Orchestra; swim team. Graduated from FAU with a BA/Education. Teaching was her passion and she always filled with joy when she would encounter a former student who would give her a big hug and thank her for making a positive difference in their lives. She retired from teaching at an early age due to health issues. Susan was very involved in the Foster Care program, wanting to make a difference in a child's life. She loved everything to do with nature, animals and tennis. A talented artist: painted, designed and made jewelry; created wonderful scrapbooking memories. She lived a full and wonderful life, surrounded by everyone who loved her.
